After 8 months of hard work, Class 60 graduates with a top of the line model presentation surrounded by their loved ones. Their graduation theme was The Factory by Andy Warhol.
In 1963, Warhol attended a “haircutting party” that was decorated with tin foil, silver paint and broken mirrors, which inspired Warhol so much that he designed his NYC studio space just the same, thus The Factory was born. The Factory was the hip hangout for artistic types where many of his famous pieces of art were created.
Warhol’s affinity for the intersection of bohemian street style and hollywood glamour inspired our students to visualize their own models as pieces of visual art. Stunning asymmetrical bobs, razor lobs, and iridescent purple hues lined the TriBeCa Theater. Tears were flowing and sentiments of gratitude filled the room as Class 60 thanked their families & their ARROJO educators.
“It has been my absolute pleasure being your main educator,” says Main Educator Aisha Robley. I have been an educator for 15 years and you will be my most loved and memorable class in my career. I absolutely adore you all. Thank you for always, always being consistent. Thank you for being a strong positive team, a loving group of friends, my Beautiful school children. “
A big congratulations to Class 60! You’ll always have a home at ARROJO. We can’t wait to see where your future takes you.
