Held in the tailor-made 75-seat theater at our remarkable new school location in TriBeCa, our 39th full time class of cosmetology students celebrated their graduation from students to stylists with a memorable Graduation Presentation that was themed around the texture, depth, and contrast they have learned to create with hair color.
During the 7-month curriculum the class studied all elements of hairdressing, from fundamental skills mandated by the State to classic and advanced techniques that enables one to create dynamic look that fit perfectly with modern fashion and beauty trends.
Many of the practices taught, like razor cutting and hair painting, are ARROJO signature techniques, employed at the world-famous ARROJO Studio. They give our students skills synonymous with our revered approach to modern and creative precision-based hairstyling; and a head start on other new cosmetologists.
The high-minded presentations, showing dynamic colors and cuts in the full spectrum of style, were a testament to the students commitment, and to the quality of their education.
As well as working daily with veteran stylist and educator, Megan Richardson, the class was also taught by Paul Merritt (Session Stylist with credits for Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Victoria's Secret, etc), Patrick McIvor (ARROJO Techi-Color Director & Brand Strategist and one of America's most respected hair colorists), and Amanda Jenkins (ARROJO Cosmetology Artistic Director, Master Stylist, and Editorial Specialist).
“It has been an amazing journey to watch this class grow into stylists. They have had so many wonderful workshops with so many talented artists; they have always stayed focused and realized what an amazing opportunity they have. I wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors," gushed lead educator, Megan Richardson, at the Graduation.
At each Graduation we offer a $350 gift certificate for continued education at ARROJO Advanced Academy to the Highest GPA (Maritza Gonzalez), Highest Retail (Maritza Gonzalez), and Best Attendance (Maritza Gonzalez and Jesus Peral Basan).
