ARROJO Cosmetology Class 35 are now the latest beauty school graduates and have brought our total graduated students to 450! Their graduation presentation was themed ABLAZE and was demonstrated through fiery shades and edgy hair. We saw a varying display of everything they learned shown in a sophisticated package.
During the 7-month curriculum, Undergraduates study everything from health and safety to client consultations to beauty product knowledge and usage to makeup and styling to the theory and practice of contemporary hairstyling and all the related sciences to advanced techniques in color and cut and styling that are developed and practiced in-house at ARROJO.
Many of the skills our students learn go beyond State requirements, meaning that our students start their careers with skills that define our world-renowned approach to modern and creative precision-based hairstyling.
"Being the main educator for this class has been a true joy for me. Getting to know their individual personalities, and seeing them work together as a team, has been rewarding and inspiring. I am amazed by the talent and creativity they all possess and know, with the foundational skills they've received from their education at ARROJO, they will set the hairdressing world "Ablaze". Congratulations Class 35, I am expecting great things from all of you. Good luck and all my love, Megan".–Megan Richardson, Educator
The Graduation Party & Presentation is the students’ celebratory apotheosis of the hard study, practice, and practical application of the Curriculum.
Each student presents one complete head-to-toe look, inclusive of overall concept or theme, styling and makeup, haircut, color, and style. It is the perfect time for students to shine.
With a packed audience of family and friends, fellow students and staff, the show began with a catwalk presentation that brought forward each student’s model, with their tresses showing off texture.
The streamlined runway show and sense of style and individuality in each look and overall concept wowed the crowd, and proved a testament to the quality of education our students –– who don’t know how to properly hold a comb when they begin –– receive.
As proceedings drew to a close, each of the former students was presented with their prized Graduation Certificate, while $350 gift certificates for continued education at the ARROJO Advanced Academy were handed out to the following, for Highest GPA Kristen Lupo, for Highest Retail Sales Jacqueline Fanara, and for Best Attendance Elizabeth Rivera.
Class 35, you did us proud –– congratulations! May all your dreams come true.
